Adult Ministry
At FUMC Bossier we are committed to the mission Christ calls us to:
“To go and make disciples of all people in all nations.” -Matthew 28:19
One of the ways we exercise making disciples is through community. We are not called to walk this journey alone, yet to be connected with a body of encouraging, loving, and challenging people on a regular basis.
Sunday School Class
Joining a Sunday school class provides a chance to connect with an ongoing group, usually tailored to your age or interests, where you can deepen your knowledge of the Christian faith in a supportive community. These classes are actively involved in various aspects of church life, including missions and community outreach.
Classes meet on Sundays from 10:00-10:45 am. You are encouraged to visit a number of groups and experience what each one offers before choosing. Some groups are small while others are larger and more structured. Some are led by the same gifted teacher each week, while others are facilitated by class members, guest speakers, or clergy. Some groups are entirely base in Bible study, while others explore contemporary Christian topics.
