February 14—Valentine Party with Sonny Hinton & the Country Classic Band
February 28—Denise Odom discusses The Eye Bank; eye health, transplants, etc.
 
March 14—”Let’s Travel to Scotland” with Judy Thomas; always beautiful pictures & interesting tales. 
March 28—Holy Thursday—No meeting today.
 
April 11—Lee Marvin Adams returns to share humorous stories of his trip abroad.
April 25—Jackie & Cheryl Nelson will share some of their early experiences together.  Don’t miss this one!

May 9—”The Son of Noah” portrayed by John Mitchell of the Company Repertory Theatre.
May 23—Our own Freddie Cherry will bring to us a book review.  Book TBA.
 
June 13—Our own Mary Lou Hughes, will tell us about “The Pony Penning at Chincoteague Island, Virginia.”
June 27—”Transition from Home to Retirement Living” by Amy Lipscomb who is with Glenview Gardens.                                                                          
 
July 11—Rocky Maddox and Amy Marie Sparks from Company Repertory Theatre will bring “Broadway” to us.
July 25—Capt. Joey Cleveland with the Bossier Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Training Academy will be our guest speaker.
  
August 8—”Dr. Madison Tensas”, Physician in the 1800’s will be portrayed by Eugene Crooks, also of the Company Repertory Theatre.
August 22—Our own District Judge Parker Self will speak to us today on “Let’s Sit on the Judges’ Bench”.
 
September 12—Shawn Hatcher, Program Director for Camp Minden Youth Challenge will be our speaker.
September 26—Here comes our own Tom Edmonds, and perhaps his Singing Chaplains, to bring great music to us.
 
October 10—”The State of our City” by Pam Glorioso.  Always a favorite.
October 24—TBA
 
November 14—Annual Thanksgiving Feast
December 5—Annual Christmas Celebration (note- moved to the 5th)
 

 

 

 

 

The Young At Heart is an adult ministry for folks 55+ who enjoy good fellowship, food, a variety of programs, travel, and all sorts of great things.
